Channel View is a fully refurbished B&B located in the coastal village of Stoke Fleming, just a 5-minute drive from the historic naval port of Dartmouth and its world-class restaurants and shops. Stoke Fleming itself boasts a wealth of amenities (all within a 10-minute walk from Channel View), to include the award-winning beach at Blackpool Sands, the Green Dragon Inn, Kendricks Restaurant, and Stoke Fleming Village Shop and Post Office. The property benefits from fabulous sea views, and we are also within easy access of the South West Coast Path, where a variety of walks to suit various fitness levels can be enjoyed in either direction.
A TASTE OF WHAT'S ON OFFER...
Is served between 08:00am and 09:00am, in either the breakfast room or on the terrace, both of which offer lovely sea views. Breakfast includes a choice of Fruit Juices & Cereals, Teas & Coffee, Toast with Preserves and a Full English Breakfast (or any combination to suit). If you would like something a little different such as Boiled Eggs & Soldiers or an 'add-on' such as Fried Bread (naughty, but nice), please just ask.
Vegetarians, Vegans, Gluten Free etc., are also happily catered for on request.
Proudly owned by dogs ourselves, we WELCOME (as opposed to accept) a maximum of TWO dogs per room (in all rooms except our Single/Small Double) at no additional cost if you #BookDirect with us ... Better still, if your dog(s) can vouch for you, then you can come too!
There are numerous wonderful walks to be enjoyed in the locality and we also have a fully enclosed, 5-acre field which
guests are welcome to use.

We offer a wealth of facilities in our rooms to include tea & coffee making facilities, mini-fridge, wine & spirit glasses, hairdryer, electric blankets & heaters, central oil-fired heating, and plenty of sockets to include toothbrush & USB charging points.
Relax and unwind in our Guest Lounge. Books, fridge & microwave provided, plus a selection of glasses & bottle opener etc.
Fancy a lie-in? No problem! Let us know the night before and we're happy to make you up a morning snack (Bacon Butties etc) and leave outside your room!
We are also happy to cater for non-residents (£15 per person) if you are e.g. visiting friends who would like to join you for breakfast. Please arrange this with us at least 24-hours in advance.
EV CHARGER
7KW, Type 2, Untethered EV Charger available (45p/KWH). Our charger records the electric usage, so you only pay for what you've used.
We have ample off-road parking (free of charge) for all guests (one car per room) .
If you are travelling separately, you can reserve an additional space (£5 per night) when you make a reservation with us.
Daily Housekeeping
We service your room daily (to include replenishing your refreshment tray, changing bedlinen & towels as required, emptying waste bins etc)... if you'd prefer that we didn't enter your room during your stay, please let us know.
We also offer a laundry service (wash & dry) £15 per load.
Pubs/Restaurants
Whilst Dartmouth itself is spoiled for restaurants, Stoke Fleming also boasts two fabulous eateries... Kendricks, and our thriving Village Pub, the Green Dragon. Both are within a 5-minute walk from Channel View.
Coffee and snacks are also available during the day at Blackpool Sands (Just a 10-minute walk from Channel View).

ABOUT YOUR HOST:
Channel View Guest House was established circa 1940. In more recent years, it has been subject to intense renovation and is currently run by your host Lucy (who has been on site for the past 19 years).
Lucy graduated from Birmingham College of Food, Tourism and Creative Studies in 1994 with a Diploma in Hotel, Catering and Institutional Operations. In addition to the Hospitality trade, she has also worked in Finance, Investment and Property Management.
In her free time, Lucy works to support various animal rescue organisations – in particular, Rehoming Cyprus Pointers, whose selfless volunteers work tirelessly to rescue discarded hunting dogs (including her own) from the streets of Cyprus.
She is also an established author and is currently working on her third novel. (Be careful, or you might end up in it! 🤣)
